The Nissan GT-R has a fearsome reputation for felling supercar giants at much higher prices. We find out if a facelift is change enough to keep the nine-year-old model fresh.
The price has increased by almost £2000 to £79,995, and mechanical tweaks include more power from the engine – it’s now got 562bhp - and more rigidity from the chassis.
In spite of the changes, the GT-R’s competition has caught up with its impressive performance statistics, so it has to work hard to maintain its grip on the market, and its place in the supercar hierarchy.
