Brand's European sales to dealers fell by 11% in the first half of 2026 while operating margin dipped to 5.8%

Hyundai executives have promised a sales boost from new models including the next Tucson starting later this year after the brand’s ageing line-up and stiff competition from China have hit European sales so far in 2026.

The firm will replace all three of its best-selling models later this year or early next year and is introducing a key new electric model in the form of the Ioniq 3.
