JLR sister company Agratas gets cash injection to support construction of huge new factory

The UK government has invested £380 million to support Agratas, the battery subsidiary of JLR owner Tata Group, construct one of Europe’s largest EV battery factories in Somerset.

Work began on the £4 billion facility, which will produce batteries for future JLR models as well as supplying other firms, in Bridgwater last year.
