Seat's sportster is still on the cards, says design boss

Seat will decide whether to build the two-seater Tango in the next three months. If it gets
the nod, engineers need two years to turn the concept into a £14k production reality. ‘Seat is not a company that can afford to make a loss on such a car,’ Seat design boss Steve Lewis told Autocar recently.
Nissan is also nearing a decision on its folding hard-top Micra C+C. Company chief Carlos Ghosn insists all cars must make a profit and a business case is still being argued. A final verdict is expected by the end of the year.
