Hottest Range Rover Sport spotted testing at the Nürburgring giving a glimpse of the car's new look

These are the latest pictures of the imminently arriving Range Rover Sport SVR testing at the Nürburgring.

The car looks to have received minor exterior detail changes comprised of slightly enlarged intake vents, suggesting a more potent engine is under the bonnet.

We've spotted the regular 2017 Range Rover Sport testing

An insurance database numberplate check showed the test car was running a 5.0-litre engine, supporting speculation that the SVR’s supercharged V8 will produce 567bhp the same as the 200mph F-Type SVR, increasing the Range Rover Sport’s peak output by 25bhp compared with the current model.

That should see the 2.3-ton SVR capable of accelerating from 0-62mph in about 4.5sec, ranking it alongside the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, which has less power but weighs around 70kg less.

In addition, there are some further clues towards the Range Rover Sport’s updated look, which is seen sporting a new headlight unit very similar to the Velar’s.

Land Rover has so far remained tight-lipped about the car, but insiders are suggesting that its updated model could arrive later this year along with the rest of the facelifted Sport range, one year before the next-generation Cayenne is launched.
