The Paris motor show is under way, and it's already shaping up to be Europe's biggest in years - hosting the debuts of a huge array of crucial new cars from the likes of Renault, Peugeot, Citroën, BYD, Fiat, Opel, Volkswagen and loads more.
Dominating headlines is the unveiling of the revived Citroën 2CV, plans for which Autocar first revealed early last year. But other stars include the new Smart #2 city car, the reborn Audi A2, Dacia's new Spring supermini and key concepts from big brands, such as the Renault E-Space and Fiat Multiplay.
Autocar has a full team in Paris to bring all the stories from the show, and you can follow their live updates from the ground here - and see below for the full list of new models being unwrapped.
Alfa Romeo Cuorerosso

Described as a manifesto for Alfa's future, the Cuorerosso ('Redheart') dramatically previews the look of the brand's future models. It's a sleek, pointy four-door sports saloon that could point the way for a successor to the ageing Giulia - and is powered by a hybridised version of the Quadrifoglio's 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6.

Alpine A110

We'll have to wait a little longer to see the next-generation A110 in full, but this sculpture provides our best hint yet at its new styling. Note it sleeker, more aerodynamic shape, as well as its hexagonal front lights.

Alpine A310

This retro-futuristic one-off, inspired by the 1970s GT of the same name, previews a limited-run special edition that will sit outside Alpine's current line-up (comprising the 'everyday' A290 hot hatch and A390 crossover, plus the flagship A110 sports car).

BYD Atto 8

Seven seats and supercar levels of power for BYD's new flagship electric SUV, coming to the UK next year to take on the Skoda Peaq and Kia EV9. Called the Atto 8, it packs up to 764bhp and a maximum range of more than 400 miles. Plus, it's compatible with BYD's new Flash Chargers, so it can top up from 10-70% in just five minutes.

Citroën 2CV

This is the big - but very small - one: following the success of the Renault 5, Citroën is having its own crack at a heritage-infused EV that appeals to both heart and head. CEO Xavier Chardon has said the new 'Tin Snail' has "exactly the same purpose" as its forebear in post-war France: offering affordable transport for the masses. It will be built in Italy, with prices promised to start below £15,000. You will have to wait, though: this year's show car is a concept, and the production version is expected at the 2028 Paris motor show - coinciding with the 80th anniversary of the original 2CV's debut.
